The existing end terminals on the Eastlink motorway had reached the end of their useful lifespan. The existing breakaway cable terminal approach (BCTA) system was more than 10 years old and the wooden parts had rotted.
The outdated system needed to be replaced with a modern solution.
We carried out the removal of the old BCTA system and installed the modern ET 2000 TL3 end terminal systems, as approved by VicRoads.
