Fare & Square Café located in Wellington Square, North Adelaide needed energy absorbing bollards to protect a new outdoor dining area. The solution had to comply with special conditions from the proprietor, Adelaide City Council’s Outdoor Dining Policy, and instructions from an Independent Traffic Auditor based on a site risk assessment.
Our team supplied and installed seven TL-0 rated EABs to protect an area of 20 square metres. We consulted with the client and liaised with the council to ensure we planned for all requirements.
Once the planning and permits were finalised, we handled traffic management, non-invasive excavation, concreting, surface reinstatement, removal of spoil, site clean up, and completion of ITP to register a compliant installation.
Our client was able to commence outdoor trading just 48 hours after the commencement of the installation works.
